The two churches in Alvanley and Manley are within a single parish in the Frodsham Deanery of Chester Diocese. The church in Alvanley dates from 1859 and there has been a church in Manley since 1906. We aim to be relaxed and friendly whilst taking worship seriously, always giving some quiet moments in a service for personal prayer. There is a hearing loop at Alvanley. Coffee follows each morning service for those who can stay.
We have found that a belief in Christ can make a huge difference to life and so we are keen that people of all ages should come to a living faith.
Baptisms (Christenings) and funerals can take place at both churches, but only Alvanley church is licensed for weddings. The 2 churches take it in turns to have a 10 o'clock Sunday morning service and Alvanley always has a 6.30 evening service.
